Vantage Health Plan is actively engaged in supporting the health and well-being of all of our commercial group employees through a strong wellness program, which focuses on specific health topics, as well as general wellness and prevention services. Vantage Health Plan identifies members in need of specific wellness services and general health education through the member’s annual Health Assessment, as well as through disease-specific claims and pharmacy data.
Vantage Wellness department emails all new members to provide information on the Vantage web-based wellness incentive program, personal self-management tools and wellness services included in their benefit plan, including nutrition, tobacco cessation, behavioral health, health coaching, and exercise programming. Vantage members may contact our wellness staff by email or the Contact Us link to ask about health coaching, exercise programming, or nutritional counseling provided by the Affinity Health Management Center in Monroe.
Vantage Health Plan provides weekly wellness videos as well as a monthly wellness e-newsletters which provides health education on specific disease or wellness-related topics as well as links to web-based self-management tools for each topic. Vantage Wellness staff is also available to provide a number of onsite wellness programs to improve employee health, including Lunch & Learns (disease-specific health education based on claims data), Quarterly Challenges, Biometric Screenings, Health Fairs, and Annual Flu Shots.
